Johann Klopp

Johann is Associate Public Policy and Business Development Manager at Tesla, where he builds Giga Actuator, the venture clienting program at Gigafactory Berlin-Brandenburg, that connects internal teams with startups to rapidly test and implement new technologies. He holds degrees in Economics from LMU Munich and Erasmus University Rotterdam. Prior to Tesla, he gained experience across economic research, technology and insurance, and public policy. Giga Actuator's current focus areas include Predictive Maintenance, Net-Zero, Automation with AI (Hardware and Software), Energy Management, Environmental Technology and Recycling.
